David Bowie’s 24th studio album, released today, titled ‘The Next Day’ has stormed in to the number one spot; the star’s first number one album in 20 years.

It has also been named as the fastest selling album of 2013, so far.

‘The Next Day’ has already sold 94,000 copies this week, beating Biffy Clyro’s Opposites which sold 71,600 copies in its opening week in January.

Well done Dave! Let’s re-live some classic Bowie to celebrate! Here’s Starman…

One Direction’s Louis Needs Some Direction

Here’s the awkward moment we found out that One Direction aren’t completely perfect!

The band were performing a cover of Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ in Cardiff last weekend, when Louis from the group managed to forget the lyrics…

In a haze of 10’000 screaming girls, we’re not really surprised!

This Week’s Condenders…

Will there be a brand new number one on this week’s Scottish Chart, or will Avicii and Nicky Romero hold on to the top spot? There are some tough condenders looking to take the crown…

Number One

Ben Howard’s ‘Only Love’ has climbed up the chart an amazing 164 places after his BRIT awards success, while The 1D boys release their official Comic Relief charity single, and after ‘Suit and Tie’ failed to make a considerable impact on the charts; Justin Timberlake releases ‘Mirrors’.

Find out on this week’s show what Scotland’s official favourite song is!

BRITs are good for Ben!

After his success at last week’s BRIT Awards, Ben Howard’s ‘Only Love’ has climbed an impressive 164 places, and if sales continue; you can expect to hear it on this week’s show.

The 25 year old who hails from London released album ‘Every Kingdom’, which features ‘Only Love’ back in 2010, but it looks like ’13 is going to be big for Ben, especially after his ‘British Break Through Act’ and ‘British Solo Male Artist’ gongs at the awards ceremony last week.

Expect to hear a lot more of Ben Howard on the Scottish Chart in months to come.
